System summary E-mail

Jitti shows the actual speed of the traffic flow, and the members of the Jitti Club may decide which route to take, where the traffic jams may be avoided.

The software collects speed data from drivers on the roads who have GPS enabled smartphone devices and uploads those data to the service center via data connection. The server then creates the actual, periodically profiled or average "speed map" of the area (street, road, city, country), draws those data on a map, publishes on the internet and also sends to the screens of the users' smartphones.

Jitti provides a service, which broadcasts real-time traffic data with no more than 2-3 minutes delay, displays it user friendly, helping foreseeing traffic jams, and choosing easy routes.  Such way the drivers in the traffic, using the system are immediately informed about the prompt traffic situation, and by reacting timely, may avoid existing or rising traffic jams.

Traffic flow information is provided by the user community, and the system pays back with basic traffic flow data and sends other information. The larger community is using the system, the more and better data will be available. The basic service is free for the driver community, payment is needed only in case of need for extended value added funcionalities.

Running Jitti is fully automatic, besides starting the application, there is nothing else to do for data submission and display, no need for calling traffic centres or to push buttons while driving.

Operating and using the system results that less and shorter traffic jams will rise in the cities, as the drivers are informed about them in the minute when those emerge, and have chance to avoid the slow or delayed junctions or routes.
